TECHNOLOGY
One system: a vehicle, the software that flies it, and the tools to run it.
The vehicle
A hybrid aerial-underwater vehicle, designed to fly a sensor out to a site, dive, work below the surface, then surface and fly back.
Onboard control
The software on the vehicle. It handles flight, diving and surfacing, keeps the vehicle within safe limits, and responds when something goes wrong.
Operator software
A single workspace for the people running the mission. Plan it, follow the vehicle and its instruments, and review the results afterwards.
Payload interface
You bring the instrument. We carry it.
You provide the sensor and know the application. We build everything around it: the mounting, protection, power and data connections, and the balance it needs to fly and dive.
Navigation and vehicle-health sensing are part of our system, so your instrument can do its own job. If you have one in mind, tell us about it.
Why it matters
The cost of an observation, delivered when it's needed.
We judge the system against the boats, buoys and gliders it would replace, counting the whole effort and not just the vehicle.
